A man has suffered serious facial injuries after being hit with a bottle in an attack outside a pizza shop, police have revealed.
Police have appealed for information after the man and woman were assaulted in Wilson Street, outside of Soprano’s Pizza Shop, in Middlesbrough, at around 4:30am to 5am on Monday (May 6).
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Three males are believed to have attacked a 30-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, by punching the woman in the nose and hitting the man in the face with a bottle, leaving him with serious facial injuries.

"Both victims received medical treatment at hospital for their injuries."
Any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information regarding the suspects is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 083108.
