The sun arrived just in time for the Witton Castle Vintage Rally over the weekend, as hundreds flocked to the popular County Durham event.
As people enjoyed the weather, the event was staged with a backdrop of the picturesque Witton Castle, near Witton-le-Wear, County Durham.
The Rally, which took place on Saturday and Sunday, saw vintage cars, clothing, engines, and a host of other vehicles that were a blast from the past.
On Saturday, which was arguably filled with the best weather, families arrived at Witton Castle with picnics, packed into vintage cars with their parents.
The main highlights of the Saturday included a vintage American-style police car and a host of classic 50s, 60s and 70s vehicles - which included tractors, cars and vans.
Alongside the collection of cars, there were stalls and entertainment, including weightlifters, a fairground, and countless other activities.
