American fast food giant Wendy's has revealed the opening date for their much-anticipated first every North East branch - and it is much sooner than you think.
Wendy's Middlesbrough branch, in Captain Cooks Square, is set to open its doors next week on Thursday, May 16, with staff expecting fans to pour in through the doors.
The new restaurant will provide customers with the signature Wendy’s items across breakfast, lunch and dinner, including the Baconator®, Dave’s Single™, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Frosty® dessert (in both chocolate and vanilla) – promising that they will "always serve freshly prepared, high- quality food that Wendy’s is known for at affordable prices, while providing exceptional hospitality and friendly customer service".
These favourites are joined by an exclusive range of items only available in the UK, including chicken fillet nuggets and the Curry Bean Burger – square just like Wendy’s beef burgers.
A full Wendy’s-style breakfast menu is also available before 10:30 a.m., offering early-door delights such as the Breakfast Baconator, Croissant Sandwiches and the Classic Egg & Cheese Sandwich with optional bacon or sausage, plus a range of high-quality coffee options including Flat Whites, Cappuccinos and Lattes.
