TWO new Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) routes have had their first flights.
The Yeadon-based airport said it had been an "exciting few days" when it made the announcement on its Facebook and X pages.
The two new Ryanair routes had their inaugural flights earlier this week.
On Thursday morning, the first flight to Bucharest, the Capital of Romania, was sent out by the airport.
Flash forward to Friday afternoon and LBA were "connecting you to the vibrant heart of Africa" by sending a flight out to Morrocan city Marrakesh.
Ryanair first began operating to and from LBA in 1989 with its first flight to Ireland West Knock Airport.
Since then, the airline has grown to become one of LBA’s biggest carriers.
