The full results for the 2024 Hartlepool Borough Council local elections are in.
The council’s overall make-up is now 24 Labour councillors, 6 Conservatives, five independents and one Independent Union.
This means the local authority will be led by a Labour administration for the first time since 2019, after previously being run by a coalition between Conservative and independent councillors.
