An appeal has been launched following a collision on a North Yorkshire road last week.
North Yorkshire Police (NYP) have confirmed they attended a crash involving a white van and a red Ford Fiesta travelling from Waithwith Road to either Range Road towards Catterick Garrison or the A6108 on Friday (April 26).
The incident caused the van to be knocked off the road and nearly hit a tree.

An NYP spokesperson said: “The Fiesta did not stop at the scene. It will have suffered significant damage as a result of the collision. There were no reports of any injuries.
“If you were in the area at the time of the collision and saw anything, or have any relevant dashcam footage, please come forward. Please also get in touch if you are aware of a red Ford Fiesta which has suffered damage.
