Emergency services attended a fire at Morrisons in Bishop Auckland this morning.
County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service (CDDFRS) have confirmed they were called to a fire inside Morrisons at around 9:30am on Monday (April 22).
They confirmed they put out the fire inside a light fitting using an oxygen cylinder.
The fire service said they left the scene at around 10:36am.

A County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 9.36am to a fire inside a light fitting at Morrisons in Bishop Auckland.
“One fire engine from Bishop Auckland and one from Newton Aycliffe attended and used an oxygen cylinder to put out the fire.
“Crews left the scene at around 10.36am.”
A Morrisons spokesperson said: "There has been a small fire today caused by an electrical fault - thankfully no one has been hurt.
"The store is currently closed but work is already underway to reopen it shortly."
