- The Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS mental health trust will appear before Teesside Magistrates Court on Friday (April 19) morning to be sentenced following the deaths of two of its patients.
- Christie Harnett and Patient X both died while receiving care from the trust, known as TEWV.
- The Care Quality Commission brought charges in relation to three deaths. It pleaded guilty to two charges relating to Christie and Patient X in September last year.
- It was cleared after a trial of failing to provide unsafe care to a third patient, 18-year-old Emily Moore.
