Train passengers who are travelling on the East Coast Main Line may face widespread disruption on Wednesday (April 17) after an 'object' got caught in the overhead wires.
The disruption, which is expected until the middle of the afternoon, was caused by damage to the electrical wires above the tracks on the route between Berwick and Edinburgh.
Due to the issue, other routes have been affected, according to National Rail, which will impact passengers using CrossCountry, LNER, Lumo, or TransPennine Express services.
