A busy North East road will be closed overnight for most of this week for resurfacing works.
Stockton Borough Council have confirmed two sections of Durham Road in Stockton will be closed between Monday (April 15) and Saturday (April 20).
The road will be closed between the Horse and Jockey Public House roundabout to North Tees Hospital from Monday to Thursday, from 8pm until midnight.
Work will then be carried out on the section of Durham Road between the hospital and Darlington Lane over the following two nights, from 8pm until midnight.

Stockton Borough Council said: “Two sections of Durham Road will be closed over six nights between Monday, April 15 and Saturday, April 20 for resurfacing works.
“Signed diversions will be in place throughout the works and we are sorry for any inconvenience.”
