A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault following an altercation in Stockton last month.
Enquiries are ongoing into the incident, which took place on Witton Park on March 16 between 1pm and 2:30pm.
A 42-year-old woman was on the road when the altercation occurred with a man who was known to her.
It is then alleged that the man assaulted the woman causing minor injuries, and then got into a silver Mercedes-Benz and drove away.
One man, aged 35, was arrested on suspicion of assault but has been bailed.
Cleveland Police said: "Officers have been conducting numerous enquiries and are appealing to members of the public for information that could assist with their investigation.
"They are particularly keen for CCTV or dash cam footage on Witton Park and Overton Way at around the time the assault occurred that shows the Mercedes-Benz and a Vauxhall Astra.
"A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on bail.
