Dramatic pictures have emerged after a car crashed into a North East convenience store.
Cleveland Police have confirmed they were called to a collision at a One Stop on Forester Close in Hartlepool at 5:30pm on Wednesday (April 10)
Pictures of the scene show extensive damage to the front window of the Seaton Carew store following the crash.
Police confirmed the driver is not believed to have suffered any injuries, and added the crash is believed to have been caused by a “mechanical fault.”

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “At 5.30pm on Wednesday 10 April police were called to a collision on Forester Close in Hartlepool.
“A car had driven through the front window of the One Stop convenience store believed to have been caused by a mechanical fault.
“The woman driver isn’t believed to have sustained any injuries.”
