A woman has been taken to hospital with ‘serious’ injuries following a crash on a North East road yesterday.
Cleveland Police are appealing for more information after a two-vehicle collision on Durham Lane near Eaglescliffe just before 9am yesterday (April 8).
The incident involved an Audi Q3 and Audi A3 – and caused the road to be closed for several hours.
A woman in her 50s was taken to hospital with serious injuries where she remains.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for information or footage after a two-vehicle collision yesterday (Monday 8th April) which saw Durham Lane near Eaglescliffe closed for several hours.

“It happened just before 8.55am and involved an Audi Q3 and an Audi A3.
“A woman in her 50s was taken to James Cook University Hospital with serious injuries and she remains an inpatient there.
“Anyone who has not yet spoken to police or who has dashcam footage is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number, quoting ref 063340.”
