Visitors to the Danby Lodge National Park Centre in North Yorkshire have been given a sneak peek at what the new playground might look like.
Work is set to begin on the existing playground at Danby Lodge, near Whitby, with some exciting new designs that will appeal to different ages and abilities.
The new playground will open in early May and will feature an eye-catching tower den, a double zip-wire and an accessible slide and basket swing.
Here is a sneak peek at the new playground:
A spokesperson said: "It has been designed by creative play company Flights of Fantasy, the structure takes inspiration from the North York Moors’ wildlife and habitats, including the journey of salmon along the River Esk.
"It will use sustainably-sourced UK wood.
"Please note that the outdoor play area at Danby Lodge will therefore be closed from Monday, April 8 for approximately four weeks.
