A busy County Durham road will close overnight for one week later this month for essential works.
National Highways have confirmed they will be carrying out essential resurfacing works and drainage repairs on two roundabouts on the A66, near Darlington, between April 15 and April 22.
The works will be taking place at the A66’s junctions with the A1150 at Little Burdon, and with the B6279 near Lingfield (Tornado Way).
Overnight closures will be in place on weeknights from 8pm to 6am – while they have confirmed the road will remain open on Saturday and Sunday nights.
