One man has been arrested after a drugs raid at a County Durham address where £100,000 worth of drugs were seized.
A man has been arrested after 100 cannabis plants were seized at an address on Trimdon Grange in Sedgefield yesterday (April 5).
Police confirmed the man was arrested in the address, while all plants were seized to be destroyed.
The suspect remains in custody.
A Durham Police spokesperson said: “Officers have located a cannabis grow of approximately 100 mature plants, estimating at £100,000 worth of class B drugs, at an address in Trimdon Grange.

“A male suspect was arrested in the address and is now in police custody.
“CSI have conducted a forensic examination, all plants have been seized to be destroyed, equipment has been seized and destroyed, organised crime disrupted.
