Police have launched an appeal for information after a string of attempted burglaries in a North East town.
Cleveland Police said that two men were spotted trying to gain access to homes by trying front door handles as well as cars, in the Bassleton Court area of Thornaby yesterday morning.
Officers are asking for CCTV or ring doorbell footage from the early hours of yesterday (Thursday, April 4) relating to the two men and the attempted burglaries.

A spokesperson from Cleveland Police has said: “Police are appealing for information after a spate of attempted burglaries to homes in the Bassleton Court area in Thornaby, in the early hours of yesterday, Thursday, April 4.
“Two males were spotted trying front doors and car door handles between 1:30 am and 3am.”
