A large police presence at a property in Darlington with a smashed front door has been linked to an ongoing investigation.
Officers were spotted on Haughton Road at 9am this morning and were there until mid-day.
Crime Scene Investigators were seen carrying evidence out of a property with a smashed front door.
At one stage there were three police vans and a CSI van at the property.

Durham Police have confirmed that the activity was linked with an ongoing investigation into an incident last night on Clifton Road.
A spokesperson said: "The activity was linked to an ongoing investigation into an incident of affray which took place in Clifton Road, Darlington, yesterday evening."
