A woman was cut from her car by the fire service after a car crash in Stockton this morning (Tuesday, April 2).
A crash on the A66 closed the westbound carriageway of the road near Teesside Park, Stockton for much of the morning.
Miles of traffic clogged up the carriageway from 11 am to 1pm.
The collision, between a car and a lorry, saw one woman extracted by the fire service, but she is not believed to be seriously injured.
The road has now reopened, with residual traffic clearing.

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "A road has now reopened after a collision around 11am on the A66 westbound, close to Teesside Park.
"A woman was extracted from a Toyota Yaris by the Fire Brigade, but is not believed to be seriously injured.
"We’d like to thank motorists for their patience."
