Extensive roadworks are set to disrupt Normanby High Street, with road closures across the area.
Residents and businesses in Normanby have been advised to expect major disruption in the coming weeks, as extensive improvement works are set to begin on the junction of Normanby Road and the B1380 High Street.
Starting today (Tuesday, April 2), the works are scheduled to take between 10 to 12 weeks, subject to weather conditions, and will involve the replacement of existing traffic signals with new ones, widening of the carriageway and improvement of the footway alongside the garden on the north east corner.
Reconstruction of the B1380 High Street and resurfacing of Cleveland Street and Normanby Road on the approach to the junction will also take place.

For safety reasons, Cleveland Street and West Street will be closed to and from the High Street for the duration of the scheme, and a diversion route will be in place to help residents navigate around the closures.
The works are expected to cause significant disruption, but improvements will ease traffic flow.
