A busy North Yorkshire road will be closed for around two weeks while resurfacing works are carried out.
North Yorkshire Council have confirmed Bedale Road, in Aiskew, near Bedale, will be closed off for 13 days between April 8 and April 24.
The works will be carried out between 9:30am and 3:30pm on weekdays only.
The council have said resident access will be maintained where possible.
A North Yorkshire Council spokesperson said: “Road closure to facilitate carriageway resurfacing.

“Closure between the hours 09:30-15:30 (weekdays only). Resident access will be maintained where possible.
“However, due to the nature of the works being undertaken, there may be some times where this is not possible.
“The restriction will be in place for 13 days between 8th April 2024 and 24th April 2024.”
