One person has been hospitalised after a crash in central Darlington that saw part of the town cordoned off by police.
A spokesperson from the North East Ambulance Service confirmed that one person had been hospitalised following an incident on St Cuthbert's Way, near the church.

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic collision today (26 March) on St Cuthbert's Way in Darlington shortly before 11am.
"We dispatched one ambulance crew and one patient was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital."
The police have also been contacted for more information.
