A major North Yorkshire farm shop has been put up for sale following its closure nearly three months ago.
Watling Real Estate have been instructed to sell the former Keelham Farm Shop property in Skipton, North Yorkshire.
The Gargrave Road business closed on December 28 and Lyn Vardy and Jonny Marston of Alvarez & Marsal’s restructuring team in Leeds were appointed as administrators on January 5.
The freehold property comprises a 27,826 sq ft unit on a 1.65 acre site which includes approximately 100 parking spaces.
Rob Cruikshank, associate director in Watling Real Estate’s Leeds office, said: “This is a prominent site, approximately one mile north west of Skipton, located next to the main roundabout on the A65 and A59 highways, and is offered with vacant possession.

“The property is in an ideal position to benefit from the high volume of traffic which passes through the area.”
“We are pleased to be bringing the property to the market and hope to secure a sale that will bring such a well-known site back into operational use. This is a property that could be suitable for a variety of uses, subject to the necessary planning consents.”
The site is situated close to a Travelodge Hotel, as well as a small fast food retail development which includes Burger King and Greggs.
It is located between the A65 Gargrave Road roundabout and Ling Fields.
