Visitors to a North East beach have taken aim at the tourist attraction - with some complaining that they spent most of the time 'dodging dog muck'.
While the region is graced with some incredible beaches - including crashing waves, stretching sandy beaches and lovely views, it seems like some people's visit to Seaton Carew Beach left something to be desired.
Taking a look at reviews on TripAdvisor, some people have hit out at the beach - and the uncleanliness of the beach at Seaton Carew - which has seen some claim that they'll "never return".
As part of the reviews, one person put on TripAdvisor: "Disgusting. The beach is dog muck central rubbish everywhere children trod in dog muck both on the beach and promenade. Avoid! Very run down. We won't be returning."
From this review, it seems like this person isn't alone, with another person adding: "This beach must be the dirtiest beach in the North East with countless bottles, fish and chip papers, cartons, blankets, sheets, towels, left littering the place, worst of all the dozens of used nappies left lying all over the place."
Despite the criticisms of Seaton Carew, there were plenty of people who defended it and praised the location for a brilliant visit.
Overall, Seaton Carew Beach has a four out of five-star rating from over 400 reviews on TripAdvisor, which shows that people must rate it somewhat to get the ratings.

Speaking positively about their visit, one person said: "Brilliant beach with great facilities close by. Plenty of cheap parking and there are many sights nearby."
Meanwhile, another added: "We love Seaton Carew and visit here many times throughout the year. The people here are friendly. The beach is wonderful for walking on. There are a few amusement arcades for the children but not too many. Lovely fish and chips and ice cream. Something for the adults and children."
So there we have it - some may complain about the location - but the positive outweighs the negatives.
