Mystery has been building after an Asda delivery van was spotted wedged in a field - which left hundreds of people baffled.
Earlier this week, the Mercedes van, which clearly has Asda branding on it, was photographed in a field surrounded by stone walls in Langcliffe, North Yorkshire, and appears to have been abandoned.
In the images, the vehicle seems to be wedged in the grass with multiple puddles surrounding it.
In other images, it appears to be a mystery how the driver ended up in the field, due to it not being evident where the nearest road was.
And, as ever, the images soon made their way onto social media for people to start questioning how the van ended up in the field.
Several joked that the driver was probably let down by their sat nav, due to the lack of road near to where the van had come to rest.
Meanwhile, others joked that the driver was just 'going the extra mile'.
As you can see already, people on social media had a lot of sympathy for the situation.
The picture, which then appeared on Shite Parking Watch UK, was posted on social media with the caption: ‘When Adrian Mole gets an Asda home delivery.’
Ben Smith wrote underneath: ‘Going the extra mile, I salute you driver.’
Michael Uren joked: ‘I think he was getting fresh lamb.’
