Residents of Skelton are being urged to keep an eye out for an injured deer which has been spotted.
The police have received multiple reports of an injured deer around the Apple Orchard area of Skelton, but have been unable to locate it despite officers carrying out searches.
It is believed that the deer may be hurt, and officials have urged anyone who spots the animal to call 101 immediately.
Residents are advised not to approach the deer if they do spot it, as injured animals can be unpredictable and frightened.

Cleveland Police said: "We have received multiple reports of an injured deer in the area of Apple Orchard, Skelton.
"We have attended the area however have not located the animal.
"If you see the deer and believe it requires assistance, please call 101."
