A musical act could seize its dream by winning The Road to Hardwick’s Battle of the Bands competition.
Applications for the competition which will see the winner perform on the main stage at Hardwick Festival, which will celebrate its tenth anniversary, will close on March 25.
The winning act will feature in “top music magazines,” a day in a prestigious Newcastle recording studio, a music industry experience session, free festival tickets, and tailored press campaign offered by Northside Creative.
The competition will take place at The WonderBar in Newcastle.
Bands and artists who do not take the top prize will also get the benefit of advice from a panel of industry pros, national music journalists, and regional radio icons.
A spokesperson for the event said: “With a total capacity of 10,000, including the iconic mainstage arena accommodating up to 9,000 enthusiastic fans, and the intimate Discovery Stage for 1,000, Hardwick Festival promises an unforgettable experience for all.
“Set against the stunning backdrop of Hardwick Hall in County Durham, this year's festival boasts a lineup that's bigger and bolder than ever before.
“From pop royalty Becky Hill to rock legends Snow Patrol, indie sensations The Charlatans to the iconic former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft, the festival promises three days of non-stop entertainment across two stages.
