A person has been taken to hospital following a crash on a North Yorkshire road this evening.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) have confirmed they were called to High Street in Northallerton following reports of a crash outside the EE shop at 8:14pm.
They confirmed they deployed a car and ambulance to the scene, and took one patient to hospital.
There reports the High Street was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.

A YAS spokesperson said: “We got the call at 20:14. Reports of a road traffic collision outside the EE shop on High Street in Northallerton.
“We sent a car and an ambulance, and we took one patient to James Cook Hospital.”
The Northern Echo have contacted North Yorkshire Police for more information on the incident.
