Owners of a County Durham village pub have announced that they have served their last pint to punters.
Last orders was called at The Stapylton Arms in Hawthorn, near Seaham, on Sunday.
In a Facebook post the owners wrote: “Six years ago, after it had been closed for almost 15 months, we purchased and re-opened our local, The Stapylton Arms.
“Today, however, we close our doors for the last time.

“We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us over the last six years; we’ve had some fantastic times in our little village pub.
“We’d also like to thank our fantastic staff, especially, Lisa, Mick and Kelly, who’ve been with us from the start, but also not forgetting all of the ‘kids’ who’ve worked with us along the way.
“It’s been quite a journey and we’ve made some lifelong friends on the way, but as our chapter comes to an end, the page will turn again tomorrow.”
