Chicken-lovers can win a year’s supply of free chicken sandwiches ahead of Popeyes opening their new Bishop Auckland venue.
The fried chicken chain will open its restaurant and drive-thru at the new Fieldon Bridge retail park in the town at 8am on Wednesday.
Ahead of the opening Popeyes is giving away three chances to win a year’s supply of chicken sandwiches.
But to get your hands on them, you’ll need to head out and find the cheques hidden around the town.
One can be found at the town hall, another opposite JD sports and the third at a bus stop near Sainsbury’s petrol station.
Where to find the cheques
Popeyes are also giving away free Chicken Sandwiches for a year to the first 3 pedestrians in the restaurant queue and 3 cars in the drive-thru on opening day.
It comes less than a week before the New Orleans-founded brand opens in Bishop Auckland, and becomes the first tenant to open at the new retail park.
The fifty-seater venue has a drive-thru, outdoor seating, and is offering deliveries from Wednesday.
Popeyes is famous for its fried chicken sandwiches and American biscuits with gravy and handmade milkshakes.
How to win
Here’s what you need to do if you find one of the cheques:
Popeyes said: “There will be a unique code on the back of the cheques. We ask that those who find the cheques to snap a selfie with the card and post it to their socials tagging Popeyes UK confirming they’ve won.
“Then they need to email: marketing@popeyesuk.com with their full name and unique code on the back this is how they can redeem the prize.”
Full terms and conditions can be found on Popeyes' website.
