Big Brother winner Anthony Hutton has lifted the lid on his infamous hot tub ‘fondle’ with housemate Makosi Musambassi.
The pair’s steamy encounter is one of the most memorable moments in the history of Big Brother, which returned this week following a five-year break.
Almost 20 years since he won the reality show, County Durham-born Anthony now claims the pair simply reached ‘second base’ after producers plied them with booze.
“We had a kiss, but we didn’t have sex,” revealed Anthony on the PRsonal podcast.
“We had a fondle in the jacuzzi, but back then, (the producers) fuelled us with alcohol and that was one of the nights I was steaming drunk.”
His comments contrast claims by Makosi at the time, who famously demanded a pregnancy test hours after their encounter.
Yet on the podcast, Anthony said he was unaware of her claims until presenter Davina McCall grilled him once he left the Big Brother house.
His success on the 2005 series show catapulted him to overnight fame, and he secured a £200,000 magazine deal just days after his victory.
And Anthony told PRsonal host Charlotte Nichols how he “walloped” £45,000 on a car following his win.
“I was loving it at first. I was doing all types of celebrity stuff, and in the first part it was unbelievable – maybe a few weeks after there was a TV programme called The Match and I got an opportunity to play in front of 52,000 people at St James’ Park,” he said.”
“That was a boyhood dream. As a young lad, me and my mate John shared season tickets at Newcastle United – so that was a highlight.
Since winning the show, Anthony has swapped stardom for the salon as a barber and owns Mr Hutton’s Barbers and Bar in Darlington, whilst he’s also become a doting dad to his son, Cruz.
However, on the podcast, he told PRsonal host Charlotte Nichols how he contemplated suicide after work dried up.
“That was daily,” he revealed.

“It was spiralling and spiralling – it was a time when I was in a horrific place.
“I was just so paranoid about what people would think of me, and I was paranoid that if I went back into a normal job I’d be laughed at.”
He’s since launched a mental health project for men, Never Throw in the Towel, and hopes it will help others who find themselves in a dark place.
Having initially launched on C4, Big Brother returned to ITV this week with a celebrity line-up featuring stars like Sharon Osborne, Louis Walsh and Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith.
