Police have appealed for help finding a young woman after her friends and family reported her missing. 

Orlagh Anderson, 27, from young has not been heard from or seen since the night of March 6. 

Now the police, and Orlagh's friends and family are "growing increasingly concerned for her welfare". 

A spokesperson from North Yorkshire police said: "Our officers are currently searching for 27-year-old Orlagh who has been missing since last night (6 March 2024).

"Her family and friends have been unable to contact her ever since and we’re growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

"Extensive enquiries are ongoing to locate Orlagh and as part of our enquiries, we’re asking for anyone who may have seen her, or who has information about her whereabouts, to contact us immediately.
