A 17-year-old boy is to appear in court after being suspected of possession with intent to supply class A drugs following "suspicious activity" near an alleyway in Teesside.
The boy, who was arrested in North Ormesby, will appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today (March 4) after officers allegedly witnessed suspicious activity near an alley gate on Sadberge Street at the weekend.
The teen was stopped and searched, then arrested for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs after dozens of deals of crack cocaine, cash and phones were recovered.
A 49-year-old man was also detained and arrested on suspicion of obstructing police.
He was further arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs after officers recovered an amount of crack cocaine.
He was interviewed and bailed pending further enquiries.
