Thousands of people took part in the Middlesbrough Half Marathon this weekend.
The event was the first of its kind in the town and it was immensely popular.
Pictures show people of all ages and abilities enjoying the run with crowds of people urging them on.
There was an event village held at Centre Square where runners could get warmed up and it was used again after the race for post-race recovery.
The event’s official charity is the Teesside Family Foundation, which strives to enhance the quality of life for individuals in need on Teesside and address challenges related to age, disability, ill health or financial hardship.
