However, the weather is predicted to turn generally cloudy as showers or longer spells of rain arrive, and these may occasionally be heavy, with some hill snow.

Coastal areas will also experience strong winds. The maximum temperature for the day will be 7°C. 

As the night wears on, the weather is expected to take a turn for the better.

According to the latest forecasts, the skies are set to clear, and clear periods will develop, leading to a dry night for most areas.

However, the coastal regions will remain breezy, with lighter winds inland, which will allow patchy fog and localized slight frost to develop.

The minimum temperature for the night is predicted to be 0°C, so it's advisable to wrap up warm if you're heading out.

The good news is that the weather is expected to stay dry overnight, which should make for a peaceful and calm night for most.

However, it's worth noting that the coastal areas are likely to remain windy, so take care if you're planning to be out and about.

On Sunday, after a chilly start with frost and patchy fog, the weather is expected to clear gradually, making way for a generally dry and bright day.

However, there will be large amounts of high cloud arriving throughout the day, and there is a small chance of patchy rain along the coast later on.

The maximum temperature for the day is predicted to be 8°C, making it slightly milder than the previous day.

While the sunny spells may make it feel warmer, it's still important to wrap up warm as the temperature can drop quickly. Keep an eye out for any updates if you're planning to be out and about.
