Police have appealed to the public as they try and locate a missing 17-year-old boy who was last seen eight days ago - have you seen Wayne?

Wayne, aged 17, is from Middlesbrough and was last seen on Wednesday, February 21.

He has been described as white, around 5'5" tall with dark hair.

Cleveland Police said: "Wayne hasn’t been seen since Wednesday February 21 and police need to confirm he is safe and well.

"We would ask anyone with information on Wayne’s whereabouts or anyone who has seen him to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number, quoting 035240."
