The Met Office are predicting a sleety start to the day in Darlington today.
It won't take long for the sleet to stop and the day to take on an overcast look.
Despite a chilly start to the day at 2C, temperatures will soon rise to about 6C for the rest of the day.
Wind speeds are expected to be low throughout the day.
There will be highs of 8C and lows of 3C, with the sun due to set at 17:37pm.

A Met Office spokesperson said: "Sleet changing to overcast by late morning.
"Cloudy start with outbreaks of rain, perhaps persistent across western hills, but with some eastern parts perhaps staying dry.
"Rain clearing south during the afternoon, with sunny spells and isolated showers following. Rather breezy at times, especially across hills.
"Winds easing a little overnight with a mixture of clear spells and variable cloud. Perhaps the odd rural frost or fog patch. Cloud thickening towards dawn, especially across western parts."
