The Met Office have announced that snow will be arriving at the beginning of March.
They expect temperatures to plummet and for "wintry showers" to end the week.
A spokesperson for the forecaster forecasted that we can all expect things to get windier and "more changeable" as the week goes on.
They said: "Mainly fine on Wednesday, although perhaps on the cloudy side.
"Becoming windier and more changeable later in the week, turning colder too with some wintry showers to end the week."
But is there any snow on the horizon? And if so, when will it arrive?
WX Maps predicts that we could see a centimetre of snow on Friday, March 1.
What is the weather this week going to look like?
Today:
Chilly to start, and while some sunny spells should develop, it will perhaps be on the cloudy side during the morning, with scattered sharp showers. These showers should ease during a brighter afternoon, with more in the way of sunshine. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Tonight:
Fine during the evening, with lengthy clear periods leading to frost and perhaps some freezing fog patches. Becoming cloudier and windier to end the night, with rain making inroads southeast. Minimum temperature -3 °C.
Tuesday:
Cloudy and damp during the morning, with some heavier spells of rain mainly affecting the Pennines. Becoming drier, brighter and breezier later with some sunny spells. Temperatures around average. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
