A stunning new bar and restaurant has opened overlooking a North East airport runway - with images of the opening of the venue showing incredible views.
The bar, which is based at Newcastle International Airport, is named Aster & Thyme and boasts food, drinks, and extensive views of flights taking off and landing.
Replacing the Cabin Bar, the space offers passengers a completely new experience with spectacular wall-to-wall views of the airfield.
The new outlet features a botanical-themed interior design.
Take a look at the new venue:
Towering floor-to-ceiling windows provide passengers with an impressive uninterrupted view of the airfield, delivering a luxurious atmosphere.
As well as relaxing within the interior, passengers can choose from a range of indulgent dishes from the outlet's breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks menus - all of which celebrate the best of local produce.
From North Sea Kippers and Slow Cooked Beef Short Rib to Local Artisan Cheese Boards – there is something to suit all tastebuds.
Dean Ward, Director of Commercial at Newcastle International Airport, said: “We are excited to launch Aster & Thyme, our brand-new premium bar and restaurant, at Newcastle International Airport today.
