Wardens are investigating a fly tip in County Durham which saw debris, paint cans, and a fridge dumped on the roadside.
A Durham County Council’s (DCC) warden removed a fly tip on Black Boy Road, Fence Houses in Houghton-le-Spring on Tuesday (February 20).
They said they took this action to prevent further fly tips in the area.
A spokesperson for DCC confirmed their wardens are also investigating a fly tip that occurred in Tanfield in Stanley.

They said: “Neighbourhood Warden 18 has removed a fly tip from Black Boy Road, Fence Houses today to prevent more fly tips from occurring.
“Neighbourhood Warden 26 & 27 are also investigating a fly tip that has occurred in Tanfield, Stanley.
