Two Darlington shops have been fined after they were found to be employing illegal workers.
The two businesses, Taste of India and Mobitech Repair Centre And Accessories were listed within the Government's quarterly round-up of companies that have had penalties issued for the use of illegal workers.
According to the data - which is updated every three months - the two businesses that have been caught have been fined £10,000.
Taste of India, which is a restaurant based at 112-114 Parkgate, is owned by Nur Spice Ltd - and was highlighted in the recent Home Office listings.
Meanwhile, Mobitech Repair Centre And Accessories, which is based on High Row in Darlington, is listed on Companies House as Tech Repair NE Ltd.
Both stores are understood to have been fined over illegal worker offences.

The Home Office releases the data into the public record four times per year, and the latest data relates to the period of July to September 2023.
Alongside the two Darlington businesses, Ali Barbers on High Street in Stockton, Durham Road Hand Car Wash in Sunderland, Express Hand Car Wash in Catterick, and The Madina in Wallsend, Newcastle were also fined by the Home Office for employing illegal workers.
