A total of 14 North East/Yorkshire businesses have been fined after they were found to be employing illegal workers.
The firms have been listed in the Government's quarterly round-up of companies that have had penalties issued for the use of illegal workers.
According to the data - which is updated every three months - the 14 businesses that have been caught have been fined between £10,000 to £40,000.

The Home Office releases the data into the public record four times per year, and the latest data relates to the period of July to September 2023.
Within the data, Mobitech Repair Centre And Accessories in Darlington was fined £10,000, while Express Hand Car Wash on Richmond Road in Catterick Garrison was handed the biggest fine of £40,000.
