The Met Office are predicting a rainy day in Darlington today, though it will clear for sunny spells.

A dreary start to the morning with some early rain fading to drizzle and intermittent sunny spells by lunchtime.

The afternoon will be cloudy but there should be no more rain.

It is expected to be a mild day with temperatures around 10C all day.

There will be highs of 13C and lows of 3C, with the sun due to set at 17.25pm.
