It is set to be a mild yet overcast day in Darlington and across the North East today (February 20) as the Met Office predicts temperatures could reach up to 12C.

Today, temperatures will reach a high of 12C from 2pm, but is then set to drop to a low of 6C by 11pm this evening.
Slight wind is also forecast throughout the day and will reach a high of 16mph, with the sun due to set at 5:23pm.
Following a dry start to the week, the forecaster has warned to expect “wet and windy morning, with rain heavy at times” on Wednesday.
