A busy road will be closed this weekend as maintenance works are carried out.
Stockton Borough Council (SBC) have confirmed Wolviston Road, from the A689 roundabout to Rievaulx Avenue, in Billingham, will be closed on Sunday (February 26).
The road was closed yesterday (February 18) as maintenance work began.
The council have confirmed the road closure will run in the opposite direction from Rievaulx Avenue to the A689 roundabout on Sunday.
These closures run from 8am to 5pm and diversions have been put in place.

A SBC spokesperson said: “Planned road closures will be in place on Wolviston Road on Sunday (February 18) and the following Sunday (February 25) to allow maintenance work to be carried out.
“Tomorrow's road closure will run from the A689 roundabout to Rievaulx Avenue. The road closure on Sunday, February 25 will run in the opposite direction from Rievaulx Avenue to the A689 roundabout.
“Both closures are scheduled to run from 8am until 5pm and signed diversions will be in place. Sorry for any inconvenience.”
