A man has been arrested and stolen luxury vehicles have been seized following a joint County Durham operation.
Durham Police have confirmed a Magistrates’ warrant was executed on Thursday (February 15) at Leadgate in Consett in relation to stolen Land Rovers.
Teams from Bishop Auckland, Consett and Durham helped conduct the operation.
One man was arrested and bailed whilst enquiries continue.

A Durham Police spokesperson said: “A Magistrates Warrant was executed today Thursday 15th February at Leadgate, Consett in relation to stolen Landrovers.
“Detectives from Volume crime teams across Bishop Auckland, Consett and Durham were joined by Neighbourhood Police Teams from Bishop Auckland and Consett.”
T/DS Gill of South crime team said: “The operation today has included multiple teams across Durham and has targeted those connected to stolen landrovers, there has been a recent rise in Landrover thefts, and the warrant today shows our ongoing efforts to prevent and recover stolen vehicles”.
