A man has been heavily fined after he drove 107mph in his car on a major North East A-road.
Ryan Louis Hoggart, 40, of Kepwick Close, Middlesbrough, was caught driving his Ford at over double the speed limit on the A66 Teesside Park in Stockton, where the speed limit is just 50 mph.
Hoggart committed this offence on June 10 2023 and was ordered via a guilty single justice procedure to appear at the Teesside Magistrates' Court on February 8, 2024.

Alongside his fine, Hoggart was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs, and a £138 victim surcharge.
His driving record was endorsed with 6 points, taking into account his guilty plea.
Cleveland Magistrates' Court has imposed a collection order on him, and he must pay £100 a month starting from March 30.
