Police and mountain rescue teams have continued their search for a missing teenager in a nearby woodland area after he went missing.
Police have confirmed they are searching Billingham Beck Valley and Country Park along the A1027 as they continue to look for 18-year-old Lewis Penfold-Roche.
He was last seen in the Station Road area of Billingham, heading towards Central Avenue, at around 6pm on January 28.
They were joined by Cleveland Mountain Rescue team on Monday (January 12) as they searched the nearby woodland.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “This search activity was in regards to one of our ongoing missing person investigations, Lewis Penfold-Roche.
“The investigation is ongoing and Lewis remains missing.”
A Cleveland Mountain Rescue spokesperson confirmed they had deployed 17 volunteers to the area to assist in the search.

They said: “We are involved in a search at the request of Cleveland Police.
“At the present time, we have deployed 17 of our volunteer members together with one Team Land Rover and our Incident Control Vehicle.
“More personnel may be deployed later in the day if necessary, as they become available.”
