One person has been taken to hospital following a crash on a North East road this afternoon.
Emergency services were alerted to a collision involving a bike and car at the junction of Marsh House Avenue and the A1185, in Billingham, at around 5:23pm on Monday (February 12).
Police and an ambulance crew were deployed to the incident where a patient was treated before being taken to hospital for further treatment.

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We received a call to 999 at 17:23 to reports of a road traffic incident involving a bike and car at the junction of Marsh House Avenue and A1185 in Billingham.
"We sent on emergency ambulance crew and took one patient to hospital in North Tees for further treatment."
The Northern Echo have contacted Cleveland Police for more information on the incident.
