Police have confirmed that there was a multiple vehicle crash outside a Durham hospital this morning.
The incident was reported at 7.10am this morning after multiple vehicles collided on the A691 near Lanchester Road Hospital.
Thankfully nobody is believed to have been injured during the incident.
There are still delays and traffic jams from Witton Gilbert to the hospital.

A Durham Police spokesperson said: "Police were called shortly after 7.10am today to a collision involving a number of vehicles on the A691 near Lanchester Road Hospital, Durham.
"Nobody is believed to have been injured during the collision."
A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic collision this morning (7 February) at 7am on A691 on Lanchester Road in Durham but were stood down by police."
